2021 GOLF EVENT RESULTS

The Gales competed in the Sectional Tournament at Turnbery GC shooting a 326.  The Gales were led by Isaac Reif who shot a 77 and earned one of 3 spots heading to the District Tournament.  Jay Niceswanger shot an 81, Riley Senften 83, Justin Hammel 85, and Harrison Allen 88.

At the Central District Tournament held at Apple Valley GC, Isaac Reif competed as an individual and shot an 83 in his final round of his career.  That was good enough for 55th out of 72 golfers who competed on Tuesday.  Dublin Coffman won the District Championship shooting a 294 and Dublin Jerome also made it out as a team shooting a 295.  Individuals moving on to the State Tournament were Carson Bellish from Pickerington North shooting a 69 and Zach Burton from Hilliard Davidson shooting a 70.

Monday, the Gales competed in the Inaugural District Preview Tournament held at Apple Valley GC.  The Gales came in 12th out of 16 as a team shooting a 351.  Leading the Gales was Riley Senften with an 83.  Harrison Allen shot an 87, but had the highlight of the day carding a Hole In One on #7 hitting a 5 iron from 215 yards out.  Isaac Reif shot an 88, Justin Hammel 93, and Jagger Snoke 100.

The Gales traveled to Zanesville CC on Thursday to take on the Zanesville Blue Devils.  The Gales came up with the win and were led by the match Medalist Riley Senften shooting a 41.  Harrison Allen and Jay Niceswanger shot a 44.  Isaac Reif and Justin Hammel shot 45s, and Parker Cohen a 46.

The Gales played Zanesville in a dual at the Lancaster CC.  The Gales won the match shooting a 169. Leading the Gales was Medalist Riley Senften who shot a 39.  Isaac Reif shot a 41, Jagger Snoke 44, Jay Niceswanger 45, and Harrison Allen 47.

The Gales competed in the Grove City Invitational placing 8th out of 17 teams at Hickory Hills CC shooting a 348.  Leading the Gales was Harrison Allen with an 81.  Riley Senften shot a 82, Isaac Reif 91, and Jay Niceswanger and Jagger Snoke shot 94s.

The Gales played in the Golden Bear Invitational at Zanesville CC coming in 15tth out of 16 in a loaded field.  Leading the Gales was Riley Senften with an 85.  Isaac Reif shot a 87, Jagger Snoke 89, Jay Niceswanger 91, and Harrison Allen 93

The Gales finished 3rd in the final OCC Buckeye event at Turnberry GC on Wednesday.  The Gales shot a 333 and were led by Isaac Reif with a 79.  Riley Senften shot 82, Harrison Allen 84, Jagger Snoke 88, and Jay Niceswanger 90.

The Gales competed in the Grove City Invite held at Hickory Hills CC shooting a 348 and finishing in 8th out of 17 teams on Saturday.  The Gales were led by Harrison Allen shooting an 81.  Riley Senften shot 82, Isaac Reif 91, and Jay Niceswanger and Jagger Snoke shot 94s.

On Monday the Gales competed in the Golden Bear Invite held at Zanesville CC.  The Gales finished 15th out of 16 in a loaded field shooting a 352.  Leading the Gales was Riley Senften with an 85, Isaac Reif shot an 87, Jagger Snoke 89, Jay Niceswanger 91, and Harrison Allen 93.

The Gales hosted 13 teams for the Lancaster Invitational held at the Lancaster CC.  The Gales shot a 337 which was good for 4th place.  Leading the Gales was Harrison Allen with an 80.  Isaac Reif and Riley Senften both shot 82s, and Jagger Snoke shot a 93 to finish out the scoring.  Jay Niceswanger was not able to finish the round due to sickness.  Pickerington Central won the tournament with a 312.  Medalist for the Lancaster Invitational was Carter Woodward from Pickerington Central with a 72.

Saturday the Gales played in the Bob Darwin Classic held at Westchester GC. The Gales shot a season low and Truex era low 314 to finish 7th out of 24 teams! We were led by two new Career Lows from both Harrison Allen and Riley Senften who shot 74s. Isaac Reif tied his career low with a 77. Jay Niceswanger shot an 89 and Josiah Lauderbaugh shot a 95. The Gales are back in action Tuesday when they host the Lancaster Invitational at the Lancaster Country Club teeing off at 1pm

Thursday the Gales played in the third round of the OCC Buckeye at Denison GC the Gales finished in second behind Pickerington Central by way of the 5th man score because of a tie with Reynoldsburg at 345. Leading the Gales with an 81 was Harrison Allen. Riley Senften shot an 84, Jay Niceswanger 89, and Parker Cohen and Isaac Reif shot 91.

On Monday, The Gales played in the Bob Pritchard Memorial Invitational held at Moundbuilders Country Club.  The Gales shot their season best score of a 326 which put them in 5th out of 10 teams.  Leading the Gales with a 79 was Jay Niceswanger.  Isaac Reif and Harrison Allen both shot 81s.  Riley Senften an 85, and Jagger Snoke 88.

On Saturday the Gales competed in the Pickerington North invite held at Pine Hill Golf Club.  The Gales placed 14th out of 20 teams shooting a 355.  Leading the Gales was Isaac Reif with an 86.  Riley Senften and Jay Niceswanger shot 88s, Harrison Allen shot 93, and Jagger Snoke 94.

Gales finish 3rd in the second OCC-Buckeye held at Darby Creek GC.  The Gales shot a 342 and were led by Harrison Allen who tied his career low with a 79.  Riley Senften shot an 86, Jay Niceswanger 87, Jagger Snoke 90, and Isaac Reif 91.

The Gales competed in the Families for a Cure Invitational hosted by Hilliard Davidson at the Golf Club of Dublin.  The Games came in 6th out of 7 teams shooting a 344.  The Gales were led by Jagger Snoke who shot an 82.  Isaac Reif shot a 83, Harrison Allen 88, Riley Senften 92, and Josiah Lauderbaugh 99.

The Gales shot a 338 at the first OCC-Buckeye match held at Apple Valley GC.  That was good enough for 3rd place behind Pickerington Central 312 and Reynoldsburg 337, but the Gales were able to take down Central Crossing, Newark, and Groveport.  Leading the Gales with a career low 79 was Harrison Allen.  Isaac Reif shot a 83, Riley Senften 87, Jagger Snoke 89, and Jay Niceswanger 92.

The Gales finished 8th out 18 teams at the Licking Valley Invitational held at The Virtues GC shooting a 361.  The Gales were led by Isaac Reif shooting a 87.  Jay Niceswanger shot a 90, Harrison Allen and Riley Senften shot 92s, and Parker Cohen shot a 97.

Gales finish 16th out of 21 teams at the Mt. Vernon Invitational held at Chapel Hill GC.  The Gales shot a 334.  Pacing the Gales was Isaac Reif with an 80.  Harrison Allen shot an 82, Riley Senften shot an 84, Parker Cohen an 88, and Jagger Snoke 92.

The Gales competed in the Licking Valley Invitational at The Virtues GC.  The Gales finished 8th out of 18 teams shooting a 361.  Leading the Gales was Isaac Reif with an 87.  Jay Niceswanger shot a 90, Harrison Allen and Riley Senften 92s, and Parker Cohen 97.
