GOLF EVENT RESULTS
The Gales competed in the Sectional Tournament at Eaglesticks GC on Wednesday. They shot a 345 which was good for 11th out of 12 teams. The Gales were led by Sophomore Gabe Betts who shot a career low 76. Junior Zane Brengman also had a career day shooting an 82. Junior Camden Campbell shot a 92, Sophomore Jacob Miller 95, and Sophomore Devon Schultz 107.

The Gales competed in the Hilliard Invitational at the Heritage GC. Lancaster finished 14th out of 15 teams shooting a 403. Gabe Betts led the Gales shooting a 97. Jacob Miller shot a 99, Zane Brengman shot a 100, Camden Campbell 107, and Devon Schultz 120.

The Gales played in the Grove City Invitational held at Hickory Hills GC coming in 16th out of 17 teams shooting a 391. Gave Betts led the Gales with an 88. Jacob Miller shot a 93, Devon Schultz 103, and Greyson King 107

Tuesday (09.05.23), Thanks again for making today a great day at the Lancaster Golf Club! The boys battled in some crazy heat and I appreciate all your help in keeping the boys safe! Congrats to Coach Miller and his squad from Hilliard Davidson for winning the tournament with a 304. Congrats also to our Medalist from Newark, Mitch Bolte with a 70! Good luck the rest of the season and look forward to hosting y’all again next year!

Saturday (08.26.23), The Gales traveled to Pine Hill GC to compete in the Pickerington North Invitational. The Gales shot a 353 which was good for 18th out of 20 teams. Sophomore Gabe Betts led the Gales with a 79. Zane Brengman shot a 90, Camden Campbell 91, Jacob Miller 93, and Ben Richardson 105.

Wednesday (08.23.23), Lancaster Gales traveled to Eaglesticks GC to compete in the OCC Shootout.  The Gales shot a 361 which was good for 18th. The Gales were led by Sophomore Gabe Betts who shot an 83.  Junior Zane Brengman shot a 90, Sophomore Jacob Miller shot a 91, Junior Camden Campbell shot a 97, and Sophomore Devon Schultz shot a 126.

Congratulations to Hilliard Davidson with an amazing team score of 282 as they bring home the OCC Shootout Title.

Monday (08.21.23), The Gales competed in the Golden Bear Invitational held at Zanesville CC on Monday. The Gales shot a 383 coming in 16th in a loaded field. Akron Hoban won the event shooting a under par 284 as a team. Leading the Gales was Zane Brengman with an 87. Gabe Betts shot a 91, Jacob Miller 95, Camden Campbell 110, and Ben Richardson 118.

Saturday (08.12.23), the Gales headed to the Golf Club of Dublin to compete in the Families for a Cure Invitational. The Gales shot a 347 which was good for 7th out of 7 teams. Hilliard Davidson shot a 294 to win the tournament. Gabe Betts led the Gales with a 79. Zane Brengman shot an 85, Jacob Miller 90, Camden Campbell 93, and Ben Richardson 100.

On Friday (08.11.23), the Gales played in the Logan Invitational held at Hocking Hills CC. The Gales shot a season low 340 which was good for 2nd place  out of 15 teams in the tournament behind Alexander who shot 321. The Gales were led by Gabe Betts who shot an 80. Zane Brengman shot a career low 82, Jacob Miller shot a career low 86, Camden Campbell 92, and Ben Richardson shot a career low 94.

On Thursday (08.10.23), the Gales headed to the Warrior Classic held at Cumberland Trails GC. The boys struggled shooting a 394 which was good for 17 out of 18 teams. The Gales were led by Gabe Betts’ 89. Zane Brengman shot a 99, Camden Campbell 100, Jacob Miller 106, and Ben Richardson 113.

The Lancaster golf team shot a 363 in the first round of the OCC-Ohio division held at Apple Valley GC on Wednesday (08.09.23). This was good enough for 4th place behind Reynoldsburg, Newark, and Pickerington Central. Leading the Gales was Gabe Betts with an 82. Zane Brengman shot an 88, Jacob Miller 91, Camden Campbell 102, and Ben Richardson 105.

The Gales competed in the Mt Vernon Invite held at Chapel Hill GC. The boys shot a 361 to start the season out. Leading the Gales was Sophomore Gabe Betts who shot a career low 79. Sophomore Jacob Miller shot a 92, Junior Zane Brengman 93, Junior Camden Campbell a 97, and Freshman Ben Richardson 116.

Chapel Hill, including Dublin Jerome’s B team setting a tournament record with a 281.
